Registration for the Open City conference workshops

Resource: ARCHSOVET

The conference on architectural education will take place on September 27-28 at the Museum of Moscow.

The participants will be invited to lectures, round tables, presentations of research, and an exhibition on trends in architecture and urban planning. There will be a series of workshops for young architects, the results of which will be presented at the conference:

The workshop by Krost will give students the opportunity to design a workspace for a technology park with scientific laboratories and a training center, which employs thousands of people in different fields every day.

The SPEECH workshop will also be devoted to a real object, which will require not only spatial and landscape knowledge, but also sociological knowledge. Participants will get a chance to work on a project for Glory Square in Kuzminky, which is also part of one of the renovation sites.

The RTDA workshop "Connecting Spaces" will be the largest in terms of the number of participants, and the organizers are planning to get three teams. About 30 people will work on the most complex territories for design: the recreation areas, transport and residential areas of Moscow.

The cities Igarka (Krasnoyarsk region) and Kedrovy (Tomsk region) were chosen for the Master's Plan workshop. The result should be the projects of public spaces of two small Russian cities.

Bureau WALL will hold a workshop "Urban Seams", which will make you think about the spaces that are turned off from the life of the city - we are talking about the distances between the buildings, which in central districts of Moscow are up to 1 meter wide.
